Marge Keller chocolate enthusiast and confectionery owner couldn't believe her bad luck when her power goes out on one of the busiest days of the year. Running down the alleyway between shops at six a.m., Marge barrels into the grill of a giant Ford and meets the stern disapproval of Kent Seawell - a mountain of a man who filled out his jeans like she'd never seen.
Explaining her situation, Kent offers to be her electrician to help her get back to baking. As they return to her shop, he's surrounded by bounty aplenty, and hypnotized by the chocolate drizzling from every corner of the kitchen. When Marge offers him a few bites in return for his work, his sweet tooth won't let him say no. After tasting how sweet Marge can be, he's convinced to stay and have a few bites of her chocolate, too.
