Publisher's Summary
Some men are troublemakers or deal makers. The men in my family? We’re baby makers.
For six generations, the women of wine country have had a saying: don’t bang a Hunter man unless you want a bun in your oven.
Yeah, well. I’ve got a saying too: no thanks. The last thing I need is baby makes three. My business is expanding, and the only thing I’m interested in getting knocked up is my bottom line.
But then one night, Emma Haverford makes me an offer I can’t refuse - she backs away from the land I have my eye on in exchange for a favor....
A big, fat, baby-making favor....
When I hear women have gotten pregnant shaking hands with Hunter men, I know I need Dylan Hunter’s...ahem, special skills...way more than I need to expand my vineyard.
I’m ready to give my heart to a child, and I’m tired of waiting for my late-to-the-party Prince Charming to make my dreams come true. So I promise Dylan - three months of hot, heavy, baby-making s-e-x, and then I’m out of his hair forever.
But what if when it comes time to say goodbye, all I want to do is keep bottling up more memories with this big-hearted man?
This sexy standalone romance will make you laugh, swoon, and blush baby-makin’ red. Heat level: A risk of getting knocked up during download. Paperback and audio versions are especially dangerous. Handle with care....

Story = 3 1/2 stars
The Baby Maker is the first standalone I've read/listened to by this author. I one-clicked when it was a freebie, but very quickly upgraded to the audiobook version after realising the narrators were Andi Arndt and Sebastian York - they are fantastic narrators and I love listening to them together.
This was a very easy romance to listen to, fairly light hearted at times and very low on angst. It was predictable, but fun. Emma is desperate to be a Mum, and after overhearing someone else's conversation, decides that Dylan is just the guy to make that happen. Of course they had major chemistry, and it wasn't long before those boundaries they initially put in place with their agreement were being stomped all over. The story did wrap up pretty quickly at the end, but happy there was an epilogue with just that little bit more.

fun and good
This was a fun read and the narrators bring out the sense of humour woven through so well. I just loved how good it was for a read, and authentic. nothing like an old person meddling to get the youngsters to see what's infront of them.

Choose narrators carefully
I really enjoyed the story. Dylan and Emma are wonderful characters and its a sweet funny book. My one issue was the narration by Sebastian York. Don't get me wrong, he is an amazing narrator however, he was not suited to the character of Dylan. Dylan is in his early to mid thirties, however Sebastian's voice sounds more mature (late 40s 50s). That really spoilt the story for me. He sounded more like Dylan's dad than Dylan. I think it's really important when they cast the narrators to think about the characters age. Perhaps authors can write'more romance books which have more mature characters too.
