I'm always asking myself, what's the catch? I can't allow myself to believe the best about anything. I was cheated on in a relationship twice before, and now whenever I make an effort to meet someone new, I find myself full of doubt and skepticism.
The man I find myself currently dating does indeed have a pretty large catch to deal with - he's a secret lion shifter, specifically. However, his honesty with me, and his willingness to trust me, has given me new hope that maybe trusting isn't so dangerous after all.
We're engaged in a weekend of hazy, steamy lovemaking together, taking things slow and passionate, and at one point he tells me about his past. As it turns out, he's been hurt as well, his pride and his future wounded by someone he once considered a close friend.
