not as gritty as I thought
for an MC pres rock is a bit on the tame side. maybe it's because it's book 1 and we'll see the dark side in book 2. things happened pretty quick in terms of storyline, although it was a span of 2 years.
all in All, it moved well although heroine seems to be portrayed in her thought pattern as younger as her 30 something years.
I'm thinking it's because she's been with all but one man her whole life and it has been a clean, domestic bliss with no lawlessness involved...even though she's a lawyer.
troy just makes you melt and I like noelle's voice...(1st time for me)
I've listened to a lot of gritty, gut wrenching MC books (tillie Cole!) but this mild...so far, we'll see in book 2
