Publisher's Summary

Hanna Boudreaux has lived in the small town of Willow all her life. She’s sweet, cute, and quiet.

Hanna has a moment of epiphany when she realizes her crush for forever, Raiden Ulysses Miller, is never going to be hers. She sees her life as narrow and decides to do something about it.

Raiden Miller is the town’s local hero. A former marine with the medal to prove his hero status, he comes home shrouded in mystery. It takes a while, but eventually Hanna catches his eye.

After all these years of Raid and Hanna living in the same town, the question is: Why? Is Raid interested in Hanna because she’s sweet and cute? Or does Raid have something else going on?

Bunny boiler

This is my least favourite KA book so far. Hannah came across as a bit of a crazy cat lady, acting more like her great grandmother than the character herself. Dara's voice was not right for the characters, even though she read it fluently enough. I'll keep reading the rest of the series but probably won't read this book again

Great story

Such a great book. One of my favourite couples and KA book however the narrator is very over the top I wish she had toned it down a touch

Well written story, wrong narrator for the female

Firstly - The narrator does do a great job of distinguishing each characters voice, particularly the difference between female and male voices. However, she sounded too young for the female character, and the male voice could be deeper, so didn’t quite fit. Did a great job for the grandmothers accent though.
Re story - Kristen Ashley always knows how to write a fab page turner, with hot romances and getting behind the emotional wall and to the heart of deep issues. So still a good listen, just not my fav.
I am reading Kristen Ashley’s entire collection and loving them all!

Needs a better narrator

Love KA but damn the narrator was terrible. Disappointing and I'm sorry to put someone's work down, the voice wasn't right for me 🙁

Performance annoying

The narrator's voice was a little irritating, particularly as she insists on pronouncing the silent 'g' ...otherwise I wouldn't have minded her so much.
