Publisher's Summary
I punish lies and deceit,
An eternal damnation of agony and pain.
Yet, when it is my wife whose deception plagues me,
I know what I must do.
Shackle her soul to the lying, cold corpse that she is,
Ensuring that she never escapes me.
My wrath,
My torture,
My pain,
And my pleasure.
I am the King of Flesh and Bone,
Every part of her I possess and own.
She is mine,
Death shall never do us part.
Welcome home, my queen.
Queen of Rot and Pain is a full-length dark fantasy novel and the second book in The Pale Court duet. The two-part story features a ruthless man, a woman who can't escape his love, and a happily ever after. This world contains dark themes, violence, loss, and elements of horror that some may find disturbing. What it doesn't contain is a hero—because villains do it better...

Great Narration and story!
If you like darkish romance then you'll like this book. The Narration was great and they portrayed the characters very well. I also like books that show the others prospective which this book does. It flows well and I binged listened to it wanting to know what happens next.

It left me wanting more. It felt unfinished to me and I wanted to know more about the other gods. I also wanted to know more about the child. I feel like there could be more to this story. Even continuing, but about the other gods realms with having glimpses of The Pale Court.

Devoured Book 2
I needed to start book 2 fast - after King of Flesh and Bone ended on such a cliff hanger. It is dark and depraved ! Sure didn't hold back on anything. Enosh is now my favourite antihero.
The narrators were perfect for their roles as in book one. I Definitely would not recommend if you have any triggers - there's alot of pain, heartache and suffering before you reach the HEA
