Underwhelming
I felt more chemistry and angst from Gigi's diary entries in the Cat and Mouse duet. Sometimes less is more, and a prequel really isn't necessary. This is basically their story with some mafia storyline filler

Duel narration perfection
I LOVED this audiobook! Duel narration was amazing both did an amazing job! Loved the story even though we all know what becomes of Gigi and Ronaldo their love story killed me! I’m not ever someone who would condone cheating even though it’s fiction but I felt like Gigi was robbed of what a real marriage should have been like for her and I don’t care her and Ronaldo were end game…

I did enjoy Gigi and Ronaldo's journey. I thought the story went a bit long and the ending wasn't very satisfying. overall a good story.

like isn't he just delicious
ok can someone tell me why the book just ended so abruptly. I was just settling in, the trip was just everything I wanted for them, then we were just done, like hello??? I love HDs writting, the mystery, the wild, the chase, and Gigi is ahead of her time, but this one left me wanting more. overall loved the book

Best love story the first version of zade and Addy
Im so touched the characters and narrators did a marvelous job. This made haunting Adeline come together so much must read to seal the cat and mouse duet series

more romance than dark imo but loved it!
"Do you have any idea how hard it is to only love you in the dark when you deserve to be loved in the light?"
So glad I listened to this one and didn't read it.... The phantoms voice is amazing!!!!!
A wonderful story that is directly related to Haunting Adeline. Dark romance but filled with a good story, wonderful backgrounds to characters already introduced and a real feel of romance ❤️
I enjoyed every second and even stopped giggling at the 1940's language used throughout. It's not as dark as Haunting/Hunting Adeline, more leaning on the romance side of dark. Really enjoyed it

Absolutely fantastic! Not once did I feel bored listening to this, I loved it very much, just like I do all her books.
I am hoping that there is a number two book continuing on about gi gis life and love and also her murder that we heard about in haunting Adeline 🙂
