About this listen

An equal opportunity offender, John's comedy transcends racial and cultural barriers, and appeals to black, white, and brown audiences, the young and old, upstanding citizens and the morally bankrupt. With observations that are so on target they will make you laugh until it hurts. John is shrewd, raw and uncompromisingly funny. Explicit Language Warning: You must be 18 years or older to purchase this program.

Editorial reviews

John Moses doesn't shy away from offending audiences, but for some reason his particular brand of dark humor about race, sex, money, and politics seems so all-inclusively insulting as to almost neutralize the cringes. In this comedy album, which Laughspin.com called "The One Album From 2012 You Should Get By A Comedian You Probably Never Heard Of", the Canadian owns up to a family history of mental illness and alcoholism, and describes a host of eccentric, ethnically diverse characters. Because he's sober now, Moses can apply the Serenity Prayer to situations in which he acts outrageously. His humor is authentic, frustrated, and unique, and rarely fails to get a reaction.
