Dominic "Bull" Walker is used to the simpler things in life. Give him his own land to work, a strong horse, and 12 hours of daylight, and he is a contented man. But when someone threatens to take away the successful ranch that took him two years to rebuild, he'll accept any help he can get to defend it.
Mandel "Fox" Tucker is a sixth-generation SWAT soldier. It's embedded in his bones to protect and serve his community. So when he gets word of the vandalism occurring on the Walker Ranch, he quickly volunteers the free time he has, thanks to his recent suspension.
The brief visit Fox had with Bull four months ago had been a contentious - but powerful - encounter. Therefore, he's not surprised when he shows up on his doorstep unannounced and has to pull out some of his best tricks to get past the six-foot-four, stubborn Texan.
Fox is only there to safeguard what's most important to Bull. But being on the ranch brings an awareness to him that he embraces with both hands. Nature, peace...love - things he never found in the city.

SWAT leader falls for ranch life & the rancher!
The latest round of bad publicity after a brutally effective SWAT mission leaves Mandel ‘Fox’ Tucker suspended, disillusioned, and needing a break from the Atlanta PD. He responds to request for assistance from the gigantic Dominic ‘Bull’ Walker and throws himself into the demanding work on the ranch where he grows to love the lifestyle and the owner. Fox isn’t immediately accepted by the other ranch workers but they grow to respect him and feel protective of him when Atlanta PD calls to reclaim their man.
OK, a couple of huge eye-roll moments (of OTT male posturing!), but overall this rural romance was charming and satisfying. Although Bull was a huge barrel of muscle, I liked that he was a fairly gentle soul. I also liked the secondary stories about how Fox slowly tamed the wild stallion and how Fox sorted the vandalism of Bull’s ranch. I thought the scene where God and the crew come to reclaim Fox was just silly, but at least it was captivating! 🎧 Aiden Snow’s deeply resonant voice hit all the right notes in this high-testosterone story!

fantastic book
loved it. I'm so happy with the way this storyline played out. There were so many fantastic characters. l busted out laughing so hard my dogs gave me weird looks. It was a wild ride! l can't wait for the next book in the series. A.E Via l love the way you pull me in to a Acton packed laugh out loud ride with unpredictable twists. l love all the Alfa men who find themselves the other part of there hearts. Buckle up it's a great ride. l totally recommend this book and series. 5 stars all the way.

Just keeps getting better !
just when you think that the next book can NOT do the one before or even the first one day justice , you find yourself in love with the characters more than G&D !
THIS BOOK IS DEFINITELY THE BEST ONE YET IN THE NS SERIES!!
