Nova and Mathias story

Mathias, the Chief of the Order’s London HQ meets Nova, a beautiful, secretive breedmate he crosses paths with while on an investigation into bodies being dumped into the Thames, all with one thing in common, a tattoo in the shape of a Scarab beetle.

A tightly written tale which ties up future stories on the fight against world domination by Opus Nostrun.

I enjoyed the story but ended up abandoning the audiobook version in favour of Kindle because the narrator’s British accent was woeful. I’ve complained before about Hilary Huber’s narration, but this one was (for me at least) worse than horrible. Just a major cringe.
