About this listen

This book is a satirical take on parenting, but more specifically, mothering - except that the events are real. It just seems like they're not. The biggest question you might ask yourself after listening to it: "Are families actually like this?" And the answer is, "Yes, goddamnit, but more so in Canada." The events as outlined were written by erotica and satire author Amanda Fox (this is satire not erotica obviously LOL) about her family between August 2012 and December 2018 as posts on her blog thefurfiles.com when the kids were teenagers and young adults. She tends to write in run on sentences, but that's the way her life goes so it fits. Yes, the children still exist, which is always a good sign. So if you lay awake at night or bite your fingernails to the quick wondering if you're a normal parent (or if you have normal kids), this book might make you feel better.
