About this listen

I've never hated anyone as much as I hate him.

The day my sister died, I told her best friend I never wanted to see him again, and I meant it. I lost her because of him. Everything I used to care about means nothing now because of him.

It's all because of him.

So when he shows up on my driveway two years later and tells me he's moving in with me for his freshman year of college, I kick his ass and tell him to disappear. For good this time.

But I already know the defiant little brat's not gonna listen. He never does.

Being near him again makes me crazy. I'm supposed to be the college basketball star my father raised me to be, but now I'm focused on a new game. I'm obsessed with watching him, touching him, breaking him. His body, his head, his heart, anything I can get my hands on…

I'm gonna take it all until he's got nothing left.

And even though he knows exactly what I'm doing to him, he's gonna let me do it anyway.

Hot MM sex scenes grounded in interesting characters & complex emotions!

I enjoyed this book a lot, as it fits the category of “MM erotic romance” that hits the sweet spot for me. The sex in this book is 🔥🔥🔥 , explicit and well written, with just enough kink to set it apart from “sweeter,” more vanilla MM novels. The character development and underlying narrative themes are a bit dark (TW’s for issues of suicide, drug use, and dom-sub dynamics), but for me these only enriched and deepened the emotional connection of the MC’s. Really glad that a friend recommended this enemies-to-lovers story, and I listened to it straight through…and now I recommend it to you. (Side note: the voice-actors on this are both EXCELLENT, which definitely added to my enjoyment!)

Loved it. Can’t wait for the next book!

So good! I loved the characters and the love/hate energy. Dark elements like their grief, substance abuse and their passion made for a great story. Narration was perfect!

Story of Nate and Xavi

This is an enemies to lovers dark romance, featuring Xavi and Nate. Nate is the older brother of Xavi’s and had been in college for two years. When Xavi turns up to start college and house share with Nate, it’s clear Nate hates him because of the passing of his sister, Katy.

This was a reread for me as the audio book was released earlier this year, so I just had to do a reread. It was even better than I remember. It’s dark, gripping, full of angst, hate banging, possessiveness, praise & degradation, pining, grief, and so much more. Check the trigger warnings before you jump in as some themes may be of a sensitive nature.

There is also a great cast of secondary characters I would love to see get their own books, especially Carter and Easton.

Highly recommend reading this. The audio is also outstanding, Michael Dean and Liam DiCosimo bring their a-game
