Isha has spent the last year watching his BFF get his happily-ever-after. He's proud of Dom, but...it hurts to see him so free while Isha's love life is still on lockdown. Only Isha's ex-wife knows the secret that he's kept caged for so long - that he's queer too, and he's lonely.
Jude's too chained to his work to notice what he's missing by being terminally single, but a new face in the village soon catches his attention. For a control freak like Isha, letting Jude under his skin is an existential meltdown, but Jude's not in the market to be anyone's queer crisis, not when he's facing troubles of his own. Unlocking their lives could push both men apart forever, but it might be a risk worth taking if sharing is the key to their happy future.

Beautiful audiobook
Garrett Leigh writes wonderful books that take me on a beautiful journey added with he narration by Shaun Grindell it’s 100% perfect.

Enjoyable story. Love everything Garrett Leigh writes, but the Welsh accent killed it for me; it was somewhere between Russian and Indian.

Cute kids and snakes in this coming-out romance!!
Isha is Dom’s best friend, agent, and business partner and over the years he’s watched Dom struggle with his sexuality, fall in love, and eventually come out. Meanwhile, Isha has struggled with his own sexuality but only ever come out to his ex-wife. After Isha books reptile pet-shop owner Jude to entertain the kids at his son’s birthday party, he and Jude are surprised to find themselves on a subsequent Grindr hookup. Jude is everything Isha needs: a kind, genuine guy; great with his kids; and a passionate lover. If only Isha can overcome his fears and embrace his bisexuality before Jude loses patience. It will take a health scare to remind Isha of what’s truly important.
This was enjoyable, I loved the kids and the snakes! Apart from the on-again/off-again relationship, the angst in this coming-out romance was pretty mild. Jude was a saint, which could tempt readers to judge Isha more harshly. However, everyone’s coming out journey is different: I have a friend who took years to come out to me after I had come out to him—it’s got to feel right for the person. Isha has some cultural baggage to process as well as fears to overcome. 🎧 UK voice artist Shaun Grindell tackles Jude’s Welsh accent and the emotions perfectly on the audio.

Not for me
I found the way the narrator read his sentences bloody annoying. He sounds like a news anchor
