About this listen

Young, dumb, and broke.

That's what started everything. With five dollars in her pocket, and everything she owns stuffed in the back of her car, Lilith Goode's life is over. Done. Destroyed.

Ten words. One text. That's what it took to change the whole world.

A crumpled concert ticket. A chance encounter. That's what it takes to start all over again.

Five rockstars. One girl. Six dark hearts, six withered souls.

But can one broken person really put another back together again?

And is a cross-country tour the place to do it?

Contains mature themes.

Spicy light read brought down by abusive ex trope

This was a fun and spicy light hearted book, it got a bit repetitive and started to drag by the second half, but what really brought it down was the abusive ex boyfriend and his ongoing use of family violence against the main character, but that could just be a me thing.

I love the depiction of grief.

I feel like this is some serious trauma bonding.
But it's addictive.
Aiden Snow's voice...just all the yesses.

Great book and love it but....

The FMC annoys me. I go past feeling sorry for her to being very frustrated by her. Lilith doesn't do much to help herself and relies so heavily on the boys constantly saving her. Amazingly this doesn't detract the book for me. I've listened to it so many times and I still love it. The storyline, whilst a little bit too dramatic and unbelievable in the bad luck department, is still great and the characters are well written. The romance is off the charts and fast paced. Narration is great.

Interesting

It’s a good story, but I think it’s a reading book not a listening book. Having 5 guys voiced by the same person made it a bit difficult to tell who was talking. Having lyrics spoken was a bit odd.

Annoying and repetitive

This book was repetitive and annoying . The sex between her the the band was kinda depressing and gross . It may get better towards the end , but I gave up a couple of hours in . so I’m not sure .
