About this listen

Vale was born in battle 700 years ago, and in all this time, he's never encountered an enemy that poses a real challenge. Until now.

Devi has been told terrifying tales of vengeful gods since her youth. She never thought that she would wake up in a world where she had to fight them.

They're opposites: He gets on her nerves; she is under his skin, and if they're to survive, they must join forces.

Reasonable story

But the female narrator was annoying, with an exaggerated tempo and inflection. Shane East did a good job
