About this listen
I’m done hiding who I am.
At forty-seven years old, I’m finally free to live my authentic life as a gay man. I’m in recovery from my addiction, and it’s time for a clean start.
The question is where Benoni, my personal trainer, fits in? He’s hot and perfectly bossy, but also twenty years my junior…and my son’s best friend.
As needy as I am, Benoni loves it, and we somehow fit.
But when our dynamic changes and Benoni wants to be my Daddy, everything I’ve ever believed about myself is shaken. With the age gap between us, how can we ever make this work?
This box set contains the Forty-Seven Duology, an emotional daddy kink duology (Clean Start at Forty-Seven and New Daddy at Forty-Seven) with a younger Daddy and an older boy, plus first time gay, loads of hurt/comfort, and best friend’s father. Also included in this box set is a bonus novella featuring secondary characters from the duology called Perfect Daddy at Fifty-One. Please mind the trigger warnings, listed at the beginning of each book.

Very unique perspective, more than I thought it would be
I have always enjoyed out yes nora phoenix’s work and love John Solo as a narrator- who did a great job as usual. Aside from a feel-good listen which this was, it was a really interesting view of the impacts of how highly conservative religious views and practices can have long lasting negative consequences on the mental health of those who don’t fit the mood, particularly of the LGBTQIA+ community, regardless of how much they try. How this can play into addiction as a form of escape, how different we view this today compared to the boomer generation, and the difference that a loving partner, supportive friends and family and religious figures can make. I learnt more than expected and it was very eye opening. Despite the heavy topics, it was shared in a way that it was not hard to listen too, credit to the incredible author that Nora is. She has such a beautiful understanding of the gender diverse community and a gentle yet informative way of letting us understand all sides so we can form our own opinion. A beautiful HEA.
I loved the cross-over with the book ‘Firm-Hands’, another daddy-boy relationship featuring a younger daddy/dom and older boy/submissive. I enjoy the extra care that comes from daddy/boy relationships over dom/sub, it’s such a beautiful loving relationship. Would have loved to have a full length novel for Leif & Frank, but also enjoyed that snack thrown in. A great listen.
