About this listen
The danger, the chaos, and the lifestyle of the Hellions world has become far too much for Savannah "Sass" Perchton. Swearing off bikers and attempting a "normal" life, she has settled. She pushes away her old life, her old self. She is trying to fit into a mold, to be everything she never was.
He's a playboy - a different chick in his bed, off on a different ride, and always chasing something new. Frank "Tank" Oleander, Haywood's Hellions road chief, will give anything for his club, including his life.
When the fast pace of the Hellions life finally catches up to him, Tank finds himself at a crossroads. He is forced to face some life-changing thoughts or succumb to the darkness of death. Teetering on the brink of giving in, her voice is all he is holding on to. The coma he can't come out of is full of the memories he can't let go of. She's the light in the darkness.
She has left behind everything she has ever known chasing stability. His life literally hangs in the balance. Can she see beyond the chaos to the man behind the cut? Will they find their forever ride?
Contains mature themes.

a little taner than book 1
this story is definitely a coming of age/ growing up/ maturing book.
it explains tanks coma experience and some of the dramas from book 1.
I like tank, he's a softer MC member, we don't have anything gritty on him but he's got strength. the plotline was easy with little angst and more emotional turmoil. it's on the lighter side as you meander through the passages.
I got a bit worried with Nick and it could have gone horribly wrong but Chelsea smooths it nicely. she still explains the challenges of MC life but also how the characters think and feel, it's definitely a life that's different but the rough patches and long rides are described as any person going through love, marriage and family obedience the narrator's were awesome. enjoyed lucy and guy. only thing with guy is how he says the word 'button' drove me crazy.
it's a nice easy paces pleasant read if you like the lighter side of MC life

Frustrating
I found myself getting so angry with Sass throughout the whole book. I just wanted to shake her and say wake up. I also thought the ending of the relationship with Sass and the pretty boy was very weak. I didn’t particularly enjoy listening to Guy’s narration. I found he was monotonous and really wanted to correct him when he said ‘button’.
