About this listen

I never wanted a mate. Until I was put in chains. Strapped down. And claimed.

I always believed I could analyze any situation until I found a solution. Solve any problem if I just applied my brain. I went to university, studied science, and told myself my academic cocoon would protect me from the alphas dominating our society.

I was wrong.

No textbook prepared me for my meeting with test subject 351. The biggest, scariest alpha on death row hauled into my lab to uncover how to control the beast of a man. How to make him submit. Mold him into a weapon. But there is no controlling the feral alpha, and no logic strong enough to save my mind once he unleashes his fury on my body.

Once he claims me.

Obsession is the first book in Nora Ash’s second suspense-filled Omegaverse serial, Feral.

Please note: This series gets dark, and it gets dirty. If you don’t enjoy your romance scorching and your alphas rough and dominant, give this book a pass.

Trust me, don’t start this series it’s a rip off (1 story split over 3 books for no reason) and incredibly unsatisfying

The first book hooked me and I was invested but really it just got worse and worse after that. I’m used to dark romance books but this series was grotesque! The ‘spicy’ scenes were descriptive in all the wrong ways, like they made me feel sick and sounded truely awful. The relationship development was so lame. The sci-fi aspect was abysmal, no details given. The plot was lame and many plot holes that didn’t make sense. So many graphic SA scenes, did not need that many. Incredibly unsatisfying ending to the series. This book and the second book all leave on a cliff hanger. Like the three books legit should have been just one book. This was a money grab and I’m annoyed I got tricked. Honestly it felt like a man wrote this book, it was not sexy and like not for female enjoyment? I don’t know. Like I said I’ve read some dark stuff and loved it but this was just not fun to read. Many scenes I’d be listening with my lip curled in disgust.
On the positive side the narration was amazing I would listen to both narrators again hands down. the series did keep me hooked until the last book where it was a drag to finish. This was the best out of the three but I def do not recommend. Trust me save yourself and don’t get ripped off and hooked on a series with such a lame ending. Btw the heroine was a gutless selfish disappointment of a character who I feel was not redeemable. The hero was kind of infantile and like not that appealing.
