About this listen

This is the epic series finale. Be prepared for it to be explosive.

When King Adriel failed to prevent the rising of his demonic half-brother, Katashneil, from hell, he unleashed death and destruction on earth. For the demon of pure chaos delights in his quest to bring his brother, Adriel, to his knees in defeat. But the fight isn't over yet as Adriel's Lords and Knights work day and night to bring down Katashniel's army before it's too late.

Will Brian, Raphael, and Andre be able to find the elusive demon and rip his heart out before he finds their king first? Will they even survive the war?

Repetitive sex scenes distracted from the action!

The unthinkable has happened: a rebel Demon Lord, Katashniel, has come through the demon gate and many demons on Earth have joined his side. Agoto demon mates Brian, Raphael and Andre, join a band of fighters loyal to the Demon King, Adriel, and they must systematically dismantle the protections Katashniel has constructed so they can find him and defeat him. Brian, Raphael and Andre are each paired off with another powerful demon in order to complete simultaneous missions.

I’ve come to really enjoy the supernatural world and huge cast Nicholas Bella has created. I can often have trouble keeping track when there is a large cast of main characters but the story telling made it pretty manageable. It was an exciting series finale and I’m sad to see it end but the sheer amount of sex scenes distracted from the action-packed plot—it became way too repetitive.

🎧 I had two issues with the audiobook. It’s a big ask for listeners of a series to adjust to a different narrator and Christian J. Gilliland is the third one. He performs ok but does something I’ve never come across before. Characters Brian, Raphael and Andre each take turns at narrating their parts of the story and when they speak Christian J. Gilliland gives them different voices and accents. However, when each of these characters think or tell us the story, they do so in Christian’s normal voice, not the characters’ voices. It made it harder to keep tabs on which character was narrating and it felt weird.
