About this listen
Lennon Montgomery is scared sh-tless of love.
When the floor fell out from underneath her perfect childhood, it shattered her ability to trust. The one man in her life who was genetically programmed to love her left her. Since then she's allowed men into her bed and even into her life but never into her heart.
Until him.
Jamison Henley is content living his life and loving only three things: making guitars, cooking great food, and Martha, his pit bull. He never chases women, and he's never had to.
Until her.
One night together changes everything. There's no going back to the way it was before. She doesn't want to want him, but she does. He knows he wants her, but he can't have her.
Will Montgomery take the leap of faith in choosing Henley? Or will her fear cripple their chance at a happily ever after?

short and predictably sweet
I would have skipped this book even though it's in a series. but being in the plus catalogue I went with it.
it's very ordinary and delightfully sweet, which is not really my thing. I prefer a bit of grit which sounds like book 3.
I just don't know if this author writes more depth than the last 2..I guess I'll find out. the books pace rolls along and doesn't get bogged down and there is a little twist and turn here and there but all in all, pretty mild, sweet and romantic. the steam wasn't as prominent as book 1 so the author got away with having to up the bar so to speak. I Like book 3's dust jacket so hope it's a little deeper.
lucy did well as always.
