Publisher's Summary
Gideon calls me his angel, but he’s the miracle in my life. My gorgeous, wounded warrior, so determined to slay my demons while refusing to face his own.
The vows we'd exchanged should have bound us tighter than blood and flesh. Instead they opened old wounds, exposed pain and insecurities, and lured bitter enemies out of the shadows. I felt him slipping from my grasp, my greatest fears becoming my reality, my love tested in ways I wasn’t sure I was strong enough to bear.
At the brightest time in our lives, the darkness of his past encroached and threatened everything we’d worked so hard for. We faced a terrible choice: the familiar safety of the lives we’d had before each other or the fight for a future that suddenly seemed an impossible and hopeless dream…

Love the cross fire series
I loved these 5 books, finished them in a week. These books would make a great movie.

Not as good as the book 1-3
We waited so long for Book 4 and sadly I don't think it met up with my expectations based on how good the first 3 books were.
The story line was lacking in substance. Jill Redfield was good but again there was something lacking. Jeremy York was OK reading Gideon POV.
I was really disappointed with Captivated by You. I hope book 5 is better.

Wow
I read this in a box set of the first four books.
This was third time around reading this series and didn’t disappoint. The emotions that go into this story will sometimes feel like your heart is breaking. A great author.
Narration was awesome throughout.

Leaves 50 shades in the dust.
4th book in the Crossfire Series. Ava and Gideon's story continues. This book introduces a second narrator so there is a male and female. Both did a great job and I didn't mind the switching of voices. A must for fans of 50 Shades of Grey.

Bad Narrative
Male narrator made Eva sound ditzy. Stick with just the female for the last book.

Books great, male narrater shocking
very hard listening to the dual naration like this. Jeremy doesnt sound strong at all like gideon. he actually sounds like a robot, annoying to listen too. Jill does a great job. you should have female characters read by woman and male by male.
