deep, dramatic suspenseful..

Sydney a girl alone with no parents, Cash a boy with no identity, West with a horrible secret and Nate with a Grandpa and Sister that a cruel.
I get very frustrated with Jo Ravens suspense stories because I just feel confused for the first 3 books of the series..
After listening to the end it was ok. the story content is very dark and heavy.. but I do love that it is a HEA..

So heartbreaking and traumatic but sweet at the same time

All 4 suffer major trauma of various kinds and help each other through... was hard to read and even harder to listen to some parts but well worth it as they come together for each other. Very hot sex scenes not for the vanilla type of person.

Confronting

This story has some hard storylines, child abuse, neglect, rape and violence. Despite this it is a love story between 4 people. It is written from the point of view from each character. I did enjoy the book and there are some steamy sexy love scenes involving all 4 characters. The narrators are excellent, however there is no way Tad sounds like a 19 year old. He is a great narrator, just not for the character in this book, he sounds like a 40+ year old man. It was still a good listen but I probably won't keep the audible version.
