Captured
New Author
Being a captive, even a pampered one is still slavery. Being made to mate because of you sex even worse.
I enjoyed the story line, it captured me right from the very start. I must of read the blurb but could not remember what the story was about, so it was a surprise.
The author is new to me, she did great in bringing us something slighty different.
The narator, he was easy to listen too, I like his style and tone.
Ive already purchased the next story in the series, yes its a cliff hanger but hopefully the next installment is just as good.

Not the usual type of alpha
It was hard to do anything but hate Shepherd, the MMC. He seemed cruel and arrogant and interested only in himself. Claire, the MMC, was stoic and determined to help the Omegas and ended up with the worst of the bunch.
I devoured this book in one sitting.
It was definitely different than other Omegaverse books I've read, in good and bad ways. The bad way is that Omegas are supposed to be cherished.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. The voice for Shepherd sounded almost robotic and clunky.

DNF Boring narration
It’s hard to give a good review of a book when the audio narration is so
Poor and boring that you can’t hear any world building or character development. Please Get decent narration. This guy was bland and monotone and lacked any characterisation. Tried to listen 3 times and gave up half way through.
