Publisher's Summary
A veteran hunter. An unimaginable world filled with monsters and magic. Destiny awaits.
When fate brought me to the fantasy world of Aurilon, I thought I'd seen everything.
If I only knew how wrong I was.
Now, I’ve discovered monsters are real, they’re stunningly beautiful, and they need my help. In this world, men’s cores are cursed, preventing them from cultivating and achieving incredible power. Fortunately, I’m not from this world.
With several amazing monster girls at my side, I'll forge a new destiny and ascend to heights I’d only ever dreamed of. But first, I must create a safe haven in the wilds to protect those who have been hunted for far too long.
My greatest challenge lies ahead.
Spirit to cultivate. Monster girls to rescue. Skills to increase. And a boatload of enemies to eliminate.
I’ve never come back from a hunt empty-handed, and I’m not about to start now.

4/5 good story, hard to relate
The story itself is rather good and I did enjoy this book, I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the hard to understand MC.
I will try to explain without spoilers but essentially you have a adult male who is a hunter and spent most his life in the wilderness going on hunts and living outdoors, when he finally goes to the other world he faces a series of events that most people would find daunting. He comes to terms with it rather quickly, how ever there’s quite a number of times where he needs to fight to protect himself and others. This isn’t an issue itself but.. these people are hardened criminals, slavers, murderers and rapists and he has a problem with killing them, I get the first time is hard as he has never killed before but the MC has no problem chopping a mans d**k off but in a stealth mission he can’t use his knife to stab two people silently and instead has a brawl?!? This makes no sense at all and if it wasn’t for this I would give 5 stars.
It’s probably just my personal preference but I can’t relate to a MC that can’t accept killing when it’s necessary and honestly the better choice.
Author- is pretty good, could use a bit more detail in their travels and nut just fade to next chapter and it’s 1 week later and they’ve travelled, takes away from the world a bit.
Narrator- female side is okay, the voices don’t vary too much but did a decent job
Male side is… still a tad annoying with the whistle every now and then as it can be painfully high pitched. Other than that his voices are quite good
4/5 stars wish the author all the best in future work
