About this listen
At six foot nine, Ryker definitely fits the title of “Big Daddy”. He is a construction worker by day and has a secret, dangerous hobby at night. He’s ripped to hell and is as tough as nails; most people take one look at him and know to steer clear, but Ryker also has a softer side. All it takes to bring Big Daddy to his knees is a beautiful femboy with an attitude.
Julian is full of sweet sass and holds nothing back. He loves looking pretty in makeup and high heels as much as he loves spouting off his perfectly glossed lips. But what he loves most of all is hearing Daddy call him Princess. When things go awry and Ryker’s life hangs in the balance, Julian shows that he’s not just pretty - he’s also pretty tough.
This instant connection, insta-love, M/M romance is for listeners 18 and up! This series features daddy kink (no age play) between naughty daddies who find themselves (or live!) on the wrong side of the law, and their sweet, virginal boys who come to the rescue. These books are low-angst, insta-love, full of sweetness, and follow relationships on the fast track. They're also packed with scenes so hot, they'll make you sit up and say, "Yes, Daddy!" They are stand-alone stories and can be listened to in any order. Contains mild violence.

Rushed plot failed to satisfy
Julian gets more than his fair share of abuse for dressing in high heels and makeup but when he attracts the attention of muscly construction worker, amateur cage-fighter, and self-professed daddy, Ryker, things start to look up. I loved the premise and this had lots of interesting aspects but I felt like the story skimmed along the surface and ultimately, didn’t satisfy. The rushed instalove pacing made my head spin with talk of love and marriage early in the piece. Apart from the restaurant scene, I didn’t really see much ‘daddy’ in Ryker - the term got used a lot but I wanted more examples to understand him. I did like the exploration of Julian’s in-your-face femme side, how that caused problems publicly, and how Julian and Ryker supported each other. I found the audio narration by Justin P Lopez a little slow and flat - upping the speed a little didn’t resolve this. Overall, the cover was the best thing about this.
