About this listen
Two hot guys. One desert island.
Even if it means quitting their boy band mid-tour, Troy Tanner isn't going to watch his little brother snort his future away after addiction destroyed their father. On a private jet taking him home from Australia, he and pilot Brian Sinclair soar above the vast South Pacific. Brian lost his passion for flying - and joy in life - after a traumatic crash, but now he and Troy must fight to survive when a cyclone strikes without warning.
Marooned a thousand miles from civilization, the turquoise water and white sand beach look like paradise. But although they can fish and make fire, the smallest infection or bacteria could be deadly. When the days turn into weeks with no sign of rescue, Troy and Brian grow closer - and friendship deepens into desire.
As they learn sexuality is about more than straight or gay and discover their true selves, the world they've built together is thrown into chaos. If Troy and Brian make it off the island, can their love endure?
Contains mature themes.

Brilliant story
Not a typical unrealistic “omg he’s hot I must be gay” awakening story. Brilliantly written and narrated, not just a porn with plot story but a realistic realisation of love and emotion (with the steamy extras!). Made me want to be stranded on a dessert island with hot guy. Well worth the listen!

a firm favourite!
This book is an epic read!
It's one of those stories that leaves you with a lasting book hangover that leaves you pining for days.
And now it's in Audio - the extra layer provided by Greg Bourdreaux gives added depth to Keira's fabulous words.

Beautiful story
I really enjoyed this book! Loved it. The characters are so wonderful, the pace is perfect, there'sthe right amount of exposition... I particularly loved that them getting to know each other and talking about things wasn't skipped over; we really got to see their relationship develop.
I admit I kinda wish Greg had reversed the voices for Troy and Brian, since to my ears Troy sounded like the older one, but that's a minor thing, and didn't reduce the enjoyment! He still did a fantastic job.

A beautiful slow burn
I’ve never read anything like this! What an unexpectedly beautiful slow burn. Keira Andrews’ smut is always on point, but her impeccable research never fails to impress me too. And of course Greg Boudreaux is the very finest of narrators. An absolute treat of a story.

One of the best narrators in the business
This is one of those unique stories that you will re-read regularly. This story is more than just a romance, it is a story of survival.
Troy and Brian each have their own tragedies in their past, both are damaged and need solace. But this book is extremely slow burn. Troy and Brian save each other in the crash and move from acquaintances to friends to lovers.
It is as friends that they remain for a large section of this book, it is their survival that takes precedence for much of the story; their feelings slowly developing for each other. The fact that they both previously identified as straight means that there are a lot of 'WTH' moments, and this only makes the story feel more natural.
Would either of them explored their bisexuality without the intense circumstances they find themselves in? Who knows. But the experience shapes them, permanently, and what results is a beautiful slow bi-awakening.
This book is emotional, and certain scenes brought tears to my eyes, but it is also a light book, there are many funny moments and laughter in the snarky banter between Troy and Brian.
The narrator, Greg Boudreux, has the ability to bring characters to life. He did an amazing job bringing the full rollercoaster of emotions to life. To me, he has a captivating voice and each character is so individual that even if the story doesn't indicate who is speaking, you can tell instantly. Everyone has a unique voice.
I'd listen to anything by Greg Boudreux, but combining him with a Keira Andrews book is just a recipe for perfection!

Outstanding beautiful romance
The most lovely audiobook I have listened to this year. Andrews writes beautifully and sensitively. The characters are well crafted, down to earth and totally believable. Boudreaux is the best in the business in my opinion. His narration brought Troy and Brian to life with joy and passion. Bravo!
