what a Riot!
never wanted it to end. read the book a while ago and instead of rereading thought id check out audio! So enjoyable and teasing to my eyes ...what a delight to hear all the passion,bite and humurous words .

Another Banger from Geissinger
I almost always love Geissingers work and especially her mafia romances. She balances believability with the intensity and troupes we love perfectly.
I put off listening to this one after listening to the sample, because personally I just wasn't a huge fan of the accent the female narrator uses for the FMC, it's not a bad performance by any means just a personal preference thing, but once I got used to it it didn't really bother me. Troy Duran is always great and at least to me (a non Irish person) his accent sounds pretty good. It's also Duet narration, which I love.
It's nothing crazy plot-wise, in fact, there isn't much of a subplot at all. Geissinger's sort of spin-off series 'Queens and Monsters definitely generally has a bit more going on that front if that's something your looking for, but in a relatively short and sweet book like this, there didn't need to be. It was all about the whirlwind romance with some minor plot points to move things along and that was fine by me since.

Beautifully Done
At first I'll admit, it was hard to imagine Tru was soo young as the narrators voice to me, sounded soo much older so I didn't quite get the whole age gap vibe. This soon didn't become too much of an issue as the story was too hot and interesting to dwell on.
As someone who read the Queens & Monsters Series first and absolutely ADORED it, I have to say I wish I had read this one first. I loved Liam and I loved Killian and I LOVED seeing Declan right from the beginning.

Amazing
Time after time I have read mafia romance and have been disappointed. I am so sick of reading the tired troupe about an innocent 18 year old virgin and a gorgeous but cruel mafia boss.
Finally here is a story where the woman is strong, intelligent and knows who she is. From the start Liam always treats Tru with respect and more importantly she treats herself that way as well.
Their love story is sweet, funny and hot! My only complaint is it wasn't longer but then again it also wasn't filled with long winded, boring internal waffling.
The narration is one of the best I've heard for a long time. Definitely well worth the credit.
