Rogue slavers have landed on the ice planet and captured the tribe. The only ones not snatched? Me, a walking human motormouth with no skill except that of incoherent babbling, and Warrek, who's as silent as he is attractive. Two more unlikely people have never been paired together.

Definitely not my favourite book/characters. I found Summer to be annoying and yes it had to do with her being a motor mouth It seemed to detract from the importance of this plot line. I also am not keen on the whole 'I'm knew at this so let's discover thing"... it's just not my trope.
I found myself more interested in the people on the ship because I knew their introduction moves to the next series.
The whole capture of some of our favourite characters was a little too quick for my liking and Summer, who we don't know (which is why we have a story about her...I get it) but suddenly she becomes this very clever intellect, usually we have some inkling about the next heroine being introduced...but zilch!
Unfortunately this one didn't do it for me at all.
I'm thinking of leaving off the next book as the reviews are pretty negative about Brooke and I am more interested in the people on the ship, which i thought i was going to find out more about here, but it turned into a trickle of info.
Im guessing from reviews Brooke's story will be the same so I'm going into book one of the new series " ice home" with the hope that I won't have missed anything if I have then i guess I go back to Brooke. Narrative is brilliant as usual however, I see that we have Felicity and Sean narrating the next series I have listened to both of them before and I enjoyed their narration so I'm not expecting a problem.

***One of my fav story***
I love Warrek and Summer so much, they are completely opposites but perfect for one another. Summer is a motor mouth while Warrek is tall blue and silent haha what a pair. It works though. Hollie and Mason are brilliant as always.

Romance & Action
I love the whole series! Fantastic world building that describes how stranded modern women integrate into a tribal culture of tall, hot, and build, matter of fact aliens - all wrapped up with a steamy sexy sweet romance. The characters are all unique throughout the whole series. Some books have more action then others, which focus more on tribal life and personal struggles. I can't even pick one book as my favourite - I'm afraid you'll have to read them all including the spin off series 'Ice Home'. Fantastic male/ female narrators for the audiobook version too.

Least fave so far
Unfortunately this is one of my least favorite IPBs so far. The MCs were annoying to me and there wasn't much chemistry. Just not my cup of tea. Looking forward to the next books, with some new characters in the mix! Hopefully that changes the dynamics a bit.
