Took me a while to get through it

I loved Kathryn’s first two books. But there was something about this one that didn’t excite me. Maybe I didn’t like the characters? I didn’t have anyone to relate to I guess.

I have to admit I was wondering if this was going to just be more of the same in this latest addition to the Sweetverse saga but blow me over with the sweet scent of smoky cinnamon buns I was wrong. From the get go it was off on an unexpected trail and I was so ready to follow and was not disappointed.
