Earth is a fiery pile of rubble. Amy, a woman left to fend for herself on the volatile planet, seeks to feed a pitiful group of women and children, misfits left to perish because of various and devious reasons. When strange beings land on Earth's surface, Amy presumes the armored, hideous creatures are looming death. Dasks is a full-blooded Castian warrior from Dargon. He and his warrior mate have come to Earth seeking human females to bond with. A male of almost 400 years old, he can't believe how captivating his new human female, Amy, is.
But Dasks' race can sense deception and lies - he can smell fear. Amy is keeping a secret from him. When a Castian mates, he mates for life. If Amy dies, so will Dasks. Dasks must decide if he can live without her - because if they mate he will surely die with her.

***Sweet and emotion filled***
I loved thia series in digi format but listening to the audible took me a while to get used to the narrator. Omg he sounds like an old man, but he is growing on me :)

A sweet interstellar romance
Book 2, Amy and Dasks.
Amy's Found on earth with other human women..
She has breast cancer and Dasks has to decide if he is going to possibly risks his life to maybe save hers or kill them both...
and will the Kelons take on earth boys or leave them to die!!!

like the first, short, sweet with some laughs
you cannot take these books seriously, I'm sure the author meant them to be light and out there. it's totally different to what I normally read and I'm enjoying the lighter side of aliens and I have burst out laughing on more than one occasion with a description or two.
I think Matthew does a great job with his voice and describing some of the thoughts and scenes. it's also fun to have the heroine in charge...in a roundabout way...( no spoilers)
so again much the same but a different outline. you just have to laugh and enjoy the story..don't get deep or gritty , you won't like it.
