About this listen
Lumerian Knight Torrin Llahsab has spent months as a prisoner of the evil Vilitos with one goal, a single purpose...survive, escape, track an ancient artifact before it can be used to destroy more of his people.
When an opportunity comes at last, he is moments from stealing an enemy ship and making his escape when he sees a beautiful human woman, bound and gagged, being tormented by the evil guards. Weak and injured, he risks everything to save the female. He is a protector. A defender. It’s what he is to his core and he cannot simply walk away....
Light years from Earth, Nurse Juliette Rosen is having one hell of a bad week. Captured by aliens, put in chains and flown light years from home, she’s sure she’s going to end up as a science experiment, or worse. Until a gorgeous stranger risks everything to save her, nearly dying to break her free of the enemy ship. He’s beautiful, strong, and mortally wounded.
The desire she feels is undeniable, but now it’s her turn to risk everything. Her life. Her freedom. The wild black market on an unknown alien world. And worst of all, the evil plans of a murderous alien ruler determined to take her as his next bride...and his next victim.
Will her knight protector be able to steal the bride before it’s too late?

another interstellar romance
The story reads a bit messy but does get a little clearer by the end.
Knight Torrin and Nurse Juliet. Both are POW and escape together. While Torrin is busy saving them and getting shot. It's now up to Juliet to go to a strange planet and get healing water to save Torrins life..and then love and lust is born...
Not one of my favourites, but a fun read for a free story.
Teddy has a good voice for narration which helps..

It's ok
The story is alot of repetition from book 1. Same thing happened only difference was more Lillian's were introduced. also found it weird how she was only interested in one night she was hell bent on forever not existing then all of a sudden shes madly in love. I actually like the plot I just don't like the love story/ relationship and what they go through and the power she gets and how it is obtained because it's the same as book 1

Plot changed - a little clunky - still steamy though
So I went into this book immediately after book 1 in the series. Being all geared up from listening to the epilogue of book 1 for Sasha’s sister to meet her mate and Torren’s mirror twin to seek him out- it took 5 chapters for me to let go of Audrey and accept Juliette’s role as the heroine. Torren’s brother was absent from the book entirely. In fact, much of the storyline was underdeveloped when compared with book 1. The chemistry is still fantastic, a little taste of bondage, and lots of steamy sex. Definitely more of a stand-alone story than a sequel to Book 1, I hope to see more continuity in book 3.
