About this listen

Art dealer Sasha Montgomery is both nervous and thrilled to be invited to the Caldorian Earth Base for her best friend’s wedding to an alien warrior. One, she’s never seen an alien up close, and two, she made a promise to be there, no matter how much the idea of being surrounded by hundreds of huge alien warriors frightened her.

She thinks she’s got it all under control, until Dagan, the groom’s best friend, crashes the wedding. He’s smoking hot - way too hot to be an alien - and determined to seduce her. Sasha gives in to passion with unexpected consequences. Ancient power rises in response to their newfound bond, and the once innocent Sasha discovers that Dagan has been keeping secrets. He’s not just another warrior, he’s a king, and the power rising between them hasn’t been seen in a millennium.

Sasha must learn to control the force clawing its way through her body...or destroy them all.

Disappointing

The story, itself is not bad. But I really had hard time listening to the way the guy was patronizing and treating the female, like she is a child. Constantly calling her ‘good girl’ and punishing her for something that’s not her fault at all. He expects her to be aware and understand things she has no idea about and because she was not aware and didn’t understand he spanks her and she has no say and can’t get out of the situation because he won’t let her.
You can be possessive without being an ass. And he is an ass. Don’t like him and don’t like it that she submits to unfairness. Not a book for me and can’t recommend it.

was ok for an interstellar romance

Start was a bit messy to follow and love connection felt a bit rushed. but enjoyable for a free story..
I always enjoy Teddy Hamilton's narration
King Dagan the grooms best friend and Sasha is the brides best friend. They meet, have immediate lusty feelings for each other. His completely over the top and dominant, she is anxious, self conscious and not listening to what Dagan is telling her and getting in complete over her head. Then once she gets a clue, has a panic attack and runs away... At the start they both come across as oblivious, immature, self involved and a bit stupid....
