Publisher's Summary
For someone who thinks rocks are more interesting than men, geologist Alice is proven how very wrong she is. When a probe crashes to Earth near a dig site, Alice Clarkson thinks she has hit the jackpot of her gem collecting career finding a real life meteor to add to her collection. But this is no mere meteor. It's an alien probe designed to capture life; specifically female life.
Abducted and placed on sale in an alien slave market, Alice soon discovers the pleasures of being a captive in the arms of the sexiest alien man she's ever laid eyes on. Kerr, high commander of Kelon warriors raids a slaver station only to find a small human treasure he want to keep as his own.

Bad accents.
Don't do an Australian accent unless you can do it. I'm Australian and I've never heard anyone in Australia speak like this. It's painful to listen to.

Terrible narration
The main character is Australian, but the the Australian accent is so terrible it’s actually hilarious. I’ve listened to the first four books in the series and all the heroines have this bizarre accent. It’s a shame because the stories are quite good.

The horrible accents were very disappointing
Book 1 Alice and Kerr.
The accents were so distracting and terrible that it definitely ruined the telling of the story..
would have been alright if Jennifer Cliff had just used different tones instead of trying to do accents.
Story was girl gets abducted by aliens, stolen by other aliens, then lots of sex, then a bit of talking then more sex... It was a bit weird.. glad it was a free one.

Worst Aussie accent EVER!!
Can't really comment on the storyline as I gave up on listening due to the thoroughly APPALLING accent used for Alice. EVERY time Alice 'spoke' I just cringed!!! if you're going to have an Australian character - get an AUSTRALIAN to read it!

Irritating female voice
Would you try another book written by Angela Castle or narrated by Jennifer Cliff?
I will always buy Angela Castle written books. However, I feel insulted by the way Alice is narrated. She isn't Australian. She makes Alice sound like a New Zealand Eliza Doolittle. It's ruining the flow of the story. It would have been better if she just used her regular tone, as THAT was pleasant to listen to.

OMG I tried, I really tried but the accent was just so terrible. The voice given to Alice makes me want to jump off the cliff. I just can't finish the book. Sorry...
