About this listen

Abby is a woman who is lost in her life. She is a confused young woman. She has no intimacy in her life. The only man that Abby has in her life is her pet cats. Abby's life is boring.

Abby goes to her temp secretary job. She rides the subway back and forth to work. She lives in her tiny, below ground one-room studio apartment. Abby has a weird and quirky sense of humor. On Saturdays, she counts people's shoes as they walk past her apartment window. She wonders what it would be like to be that person who is wearing each particular pair of shoes. Especially the peculiar ones.

Abby is very confused. She has no drive. She is lost. She stares out her window and watches the world pass her by. Abby's idea of a romantic evening is playing with her kitty and watching NCIS until she falls asleep on her old, worn out loveseat.

Abby doesn't care about personal possessions. Her apartment is a mismatch collection which she finds on the curb side. Abby doesn't even dress very appropriately. Her clothing is a mismatch of different colored items that she purchased from the thrift store. You could say Abby is a punk rocker who has long since gone out of style.

Abby doesn't have much of a social life. On occasion, when she can afford it, Abby goes to the local coffee shop. She sneaks in a bottle of water that she recycles each week to make it look like she is a patron. Then, she sits at the table so she can people watch. Abby daydreams that she is normal, or rich, or that she is there with her rich husband. Abby dreams of being anybody but Abby.

Abby's life is going to change... in a BIG way!
