Great book - but the appendix is missing!
I loved the book, but there are many references to tables and without them a lot of the information is unfortunately useless.

The hardcopy book would be better
Well narrated, and peppered with some inspiring mountain running stories from top athletes. However, there is a lot of information that I understand is in tabular format and so is best as a written reference book.

Useless without a pdf
This is good content, but unless you’re happy buying the hard copy version as well you will end up disappointed. It’s a lazy audiobook work where there is no pdf, multiple useless references to page numbers and references to illustrations, sidebars and critical tests that are not covered at all.
Instead consider the audiobook version of Jason Koop’s Training Essentials for Ultrarunning which includes a great companion pdf.
