Story
Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. Story
Seven months ago, Pallas Llewellyn, Talia March, and Amelia Rivers were strangers, until their fateful stay at the Lucent Springs Hotel. An earthquake and a fire partially destroyed the hotel, but the women have no memory of their time there. Now close friends, the three women co-host a podcast called the Lost Night Files, where they investigate cold cases and hope to connect with others who may have had a similar experience to theirs—an experience that has somehow enhanced the psychic abilities already present in each woman.

Story
Lissianna has been spending her centuries pining for Mr. Right, not just a quick snack, and this sexy guy she finds in her bed looks like he might be a candidate. But there's another, more pressing issue: her tendency to faint at the sight of blood . . . an especially annoying quirk for a vampire. Of course it doesn't hurt that this man has a delicious-looking neck. What kind of cold-blooded vampire woman could resist a bite of that?

Publisher's Summary
Take a trip to the beloved supernatural town of Mystic Bayou in this brilliantly funny new stand-alone novella - written for audio-first!
Charlotte McBee knows she’s in for a challenge when she accepts a job as midwife for a dragon and a phoenix shifter. Being a fairy herself, it isn’t the supernatural world that scares her. It’s the thought of delivering a giant metal dragon’s egg, which has her gritting her teeth in pain for poor Jillian, the anxious mother-to-be.
While preparing for the big event, a handsome town resident catches her eye. Leonard is kind, charming, and a little bit mysterious. He’s also suffering from a highly unusual condition brought on by an ancient fairy curse, and he’s too wary of Charlotte to allow her to get close.
Will love overcome fear before the end of her assignment?

Awesome.....too short though
Love this series but $14.95 for a 3 hour long book is a bit much. Would really love some more full length books in this series..
Well written and fantastically narrated even if it was way too short..

short n sweet
just a little feelgood story to put the next building block in the series.
I was surprised it was Leonard as hes been a background character for most of the books but it was cutsie and fun. And we finally have a baby in the mix. all fun characters present and accounted for especially Zed his humour was mild but he's still adorable.
more info streaming oiot from the bayou and it makes me a little sad to know progress is heading their way. it seems such a fun filled pleasant town as it is.

I truly live this series!❣❣❣
Fantastic narrators. very emotive, and great at each characters voice. Love the story, the characters their little town. This one didn't have as many of those laugh out loud moments but still an easy enjoyable listen. Fully recommend this book and the entire series 👌 👍 💕

One Fine Fae
Naw new babies into the mix. Love how this series is developing and getting into the different relationships and different types of magique folks. Sad it was such a short book but can understand it being a bridging fill-the-gap book at the same time while perhaps other ideas and plots are germinating. Love living I. this fairy tale world of Mystic Bayou along with the characters. Love the narration by Jonathan and Amanda. For me, this book has not disappointed. Thanks, Molly.

a quick and enjoyable listen
I am really enjoying listening to the Mystic Bayou series. One Fine Fae was a very quick listen (being #4.5), but the introduction of Charlotte and the change in the direction of the storyline is keeping Mystic Bayou interesting. Zed is definitely my favourite, he has grown on me so much over the series, he is hilarious & adorable

Magic with a difference
A very different book to others I have read. A magic community which have a variety of mixed species relationships. Liked all the characters who had their quirks. Would like to read more books in the series. The narrators did a good job I do like having a female read the female parts and a male reading the male parts much easier to keep track of the characters.

Another Banger
As usual Molly Harper has written another heart warming adventure. I absolutely adore the characters, and the world of Mystic Bayou.
Amanda Roncini remains one of my favourite narrators, and paired with Jonathan Davis my heart sings.

Unimpressive
I am grateful to see the next generation of Magique being born and enjoyed that aspect. But overall the specific plot of this book is lack lustre including the new romantic relationship. And as other reviewers have said, paying full price for this 3 hr book is unfortunate.
